[StaffsLUG General] Re: New leadership for 2020

Lo, So to confirm properly (but a bit delayed), as expected the newly appointed project leader of the StaffsLUG project is Richard Bateman. Richard makes person number 8 in a long line of StaffsLUG leaders or co-leaders dating back to 1999. After having a chat with Dave Roberts (one of the co-founders of the LUG) about some early history, we've worked out the timeline looks something like this... 1999 - 2006 :  LUGMasters Dave Roberts and Mark Leese 2007 - 2010 :  LUGMaster Dave Roberts 2011 :  LUGMasters Adam Egan and Ben Skan 2012 - 2015 :  LUGMaster Adam Egan 2016 - 2018 :  Caretaker Steven Maddox 2019 :  Co-caretakers Richard Bateman, Mark Sherratt and Steven Maddox 2020 - Present :  LUGMaster Richard Bateman Also after chatting with Dave we've narrowed down a likely date of the LUGs birthday which is Tuesday 2nd March 1999. Given how not much has happened in these last few months (due to COVID-19) we're treating this appointment as backdated to 2nd March 2020. Which means the next time to look at leadership again will be March 2021 and we can look at the leadership whenever that birthday comes around. So over to Richard...
