Yeah I still think it's a shame though that O'Reilly went all
subscription based.
I bought a few books from their old "Members Library" shop directly
before they switched over to the subscriptions-only service. If anyone
else has done this... you've got until MARCH 2020 to get a copy of them
before they close it!
If I don't send any other messages this year, Merry Christmas to all :P

That O'Reilly set is not bad. A couple of books missing I'd
like to
see but for the price, I can't complain!
Was good to see you all last night, and it was a very enjoyable and
productive session! If I don't see you before, have a great Christmas
and New Year!

Might be handy for some people :)
We've also got a selection of physical (most of them with eBook
counterparts) books in the cupboard at the workshop.
*Speaking of the workshop... *_*meeting tonight from 6pm onwards :)*_

to play with, some techie/linux'y movies, etc... it's Christmas :P*/

Humble have a bundle of classic O'Reilly books in PDF, mobi and ePub
formats at the moment:
https://www.humblebundle.com/books/oreilly-classics-oreilly-books
I already have most of the ones I would want so I won't be buying it,
but I thought other people might find it interesting.
In the £0.75 tier you get Programming Perl amongst others, which
is the
classic text for learning Perl. In the £6 tier are books on SSH,
Git and
the Vi/Vim editors. DNS and BIND is in the £11 tier.
I've bought
