Hey,
Yeah I had no doubts about some logos being having one license/trademark
or another in different applications/jurisdictions. However this
commemorative 'thing' is just likely to be around until on the
right-hand side bar of the site until 1st Jan anyway...
It's more like a bit of fan art, than an official logo (which isn't
changing).
Wikipedia obviously do show logos on pages to describe things in an
educational/journalistic capacity, and don't show the
license/attribution on that exact page... but do if you drill down into
the image metadata.
At this point, I was more wanting to get feedback... *if* it was used
then it'd be accompanied by a blog post or something to show where all
the images came from / who made them, etc...
