It was great of Richard to step up over the last 2 years as LUGMaster, it's a shame that his entire tenure was marred by COVID-19. However as his personal circumstances have recently changed, meaning he can't guarantee being able to turn up physically to meetings as much any more, it makes sense for him to step down at this point. Going forwards we've got a tonne of improvements to the usual room we use, we're about 90% complete on that - so hopefully in a couple of weeks we can get things finished off. Additionally we're linking up with ORG Stoke (Open Rights Group: Stoke-on-Trent, headed up by Keira) and FSFE Potteries (Free Software Foundation Europe: Potteries, headed up by Darren) groups to enhance the kinds of audiences and meetings we'll be having going forwards. In the StaffsLUG committee I'm delighted to say that Keira, Darren and Richard (who will still likely be able to join us virtually) will be helping me out to shape the things to come also. So stay tuned as we gather things together and we'll get a list of events up soon and update the website in the next little while.
