It's time for our annual FLÖRGÅSBORD event! (free bowling all evening!) *For it's third year running...* we bring back "*Flörgåsbord*" !!! Our annual tenpin bowling evening hosted by StaffsLUG. We welcome everyone from similar local groups such as (but not limited to!)... ORG Stoke, Potteries Hackspace, and FSFE Potteries to come along and join us! Plus bring along any friends or family too! The room has plenty of comfortable seating booths too, for people get a drink or eat food. This room is located upstairs in the same building as the Vue cinema... and you can find exact directions in the 'How to find us' section. *All the games are free and unlimited! -* All 4 bowling lanes will be on unlimited free play for the whole evening, 6 people at most to a lane. *It's social! -* There are plenty of places to sit and just have a quiet chat (no loud music if you don't want it!). Not everyone will be bowling anyway... so don't feel like you have to. *There is food and drinks -* The venue has a kitchen serving hot food (including vegan and gluten free) as well as offering soft, hot, and alcoholic drinks. Sweets are also available and kids get to drink squash for free! The *only thing we ask is that you RSVP if you're coming* as we need to be sure it'll be under 40 people. So don't worry if it doesn't look like many are coming, as this has gone out to other groups too. *It's a veritable Flörgåsbord!* *-* Forgive the silly name! It comes from trying to merge many acronyms together and instead "Florg" kind of got us thinking about Free/Libre orgs... which then turned into Flörgåsbord... kind of like Smörgåsbord (a Swedish buffet)... so basically people from lots of different local technology groups!. *It's a Christmas thing! -* We won't plague the whole evening with Christmas music or anything! But it's our way of saying thanks and getting together at the end of the year. *Travel* - Regular buses to the towns bus station then just a short walk down Hassell Street. Taxi rank on adjacent Hassell Street. Lymelight Boulevard multi-story parking is 1 Hour £1.50, 2 Hours £2.60, 3 Hours £3.70, 4 Hours £4.80, and 24 Hours £5.70.
